Clean and Multi-Functional jQuery Gallery Plugin - kGallery

#JavaScript gallery which can efficiently work with hundreds of photos.

kGallery is a gallery written on JavaScript using jQuery library.

Advantage of this gallery is ability to work stable with hundreds of pictures or with big pictures, without freezing brouser. This effect is achieved by retrieving the list of images from external source (JSON or XML) and downloading pictures gradually until slideshow is playing, not all in ones.

Nearest analog is dojox.image.Gallery (dojox.image.ThumbnailPicker+dojox.image.SlideShow), however kGallery do not need to download dozens of JavaScript files with megabytes of code of dojo library.

kGallery includes kSlideshow and kThumbnailPicker componnents, which can used independently.

JavaScript галерея, которая может эффективно работать с сотнями фотографий

kGallery - это галерея написанная на JavaScript с использованием библиотеки jQuery.

Преимущество kGallery заключается в том, что галерея стабильно работает с сотнями изображений, либо с большими изображениями. Эффект достигается за счет того, что список изображений и их миниатюр запрашивается из внешнего источника в виде JSON или XML, изображения загружаются не все сразу, а постепенно, по мере воспроизведения слайдшоу.

Ближайший аналог dojox.image.Gallery (dojox.image.ThumbnailPicker+dojox.image.SlideShow), однако kGallery не требует подключения к сайту мегабайтов кода библиотеки dojo и лучше настраивается.

kGallery включает компоненты kSlideshow и kThumbnailPicker, которые могут быть использованы самостоятельно.
